been itching for horror themed point n' clicks lately after the steam release of sanitariam, so i saw these were 99 cents apiece with generally good reception. the first one was pretty cool bog standard genre stuff, some wooden voice acting as is par for most of these games, really nice pre-rendered backgrounds too and not too much bullshit logic or getting stuck. it kept me pretty engaged until i clicked on an electric power cable and died, which i did not know you could do in this game and figured it would've happened during the course of my 6 hours playing it if you could. of course i hadn't saved in a while, and of course that meant back to the title screen and losing tons of progress, so gently caress it i looked up the rest of the plot and of course you're the killer all along because of black magic schizophrenia or something. overall solid 7/10 think i'll probably install the second game now and operate under the assumption that it's a sierra game and you can unexpectedly die 6 hours in after no previous indication. gonna hammer those saves, too. i'm glad video games don't do this anymore anyone still enjoy some good point n' click action? what would you recommend or have good memories of. choose a touch

Started the second game. Much more modern graphics, it's quite a looker. Very well done story and gameplay too. Can't go wrong for 99 cents, very strong series, glad i picked it up on a lark. Give it a shot if you like this genre of point n' click murder mysteries
