Has anybody ever asked this particular brand of game dev why don't they make movies or books instead of insisting on making games?

I just want to take a moment to pay my respects to all the goons in the games forum who did end up buying this awful game so that the rest of us can laugh at you. thank you for your sacrifice and god bless.

dont you just hate when you have to deal with the gameplay? it's like, here i am, crafting this lovely story and beautiful landscape and suddenly THE GAMEPLAY rears it's ugly head. it's some annoying poo poo, man.

I know right? I wish someone would invent some new type of medium, where we could focus solely on visuals and story. Just a sort of deal where people would look at moving pictures without these annoying button prompts popping up every five minutes.

If only they invented a Games forum where you could say stuff without being a roundabout human being. Hmm.

It's just weird that The Order is such a turd because the other games by these people were actually pretty okay. They made the God of War PSP games, and the Wii port of Okami which had an IGN watermark on the cover.

i really hope this game does well because the sequel, The Order: 1986 would be incredibly cool

It took Stanley Kubrick like 15 years to make one 2 hour long movie. Meanwhile, The Order: 1886 only took like 3 years, is 5 hours long, and is actually about fairly badass poo poo like King Arthur fighting motherfucking werewolves in cuntchristing Stempunk London, and not Tom Crusie being all confused in New York City which is clearly not New York City. Yet all "gamers" can do is bellyache and moan.

actually I agree. at a time when gamers and gaming in general are increasingly under attack from the media, politicians, etc. its ridiculous that were going to start turning on our own content producers and each other like this

i feel a lil bad for the devs of this game cuz it took 5 loving years to make and its clear its gonna sink their studio and they all knew it. on the other hand it took them 5 years to make 5 hours of content so maybe it was for the best
