One question, if you die do you have to start a new game to be able to get it or do you quit to menu instead of continue.

If you use any continues, you can not get Foxhound rank. So yeah, I don't think you have to start over, just quit when you lose.

Double-checked it and yeah, you can just quit and load saves instead of continuing when you die. Need any other tips for it or is that all you needed to know?

God willing my computer will actually let me anyway. OBS seems to work alright but the software that came with this either doesn't like this hardware or my windows install so I'll have to see.

Well the game capture software worked on my old compy but not this one. It locks up after 1:44 minutes for whatever reason.

I never found saves to be an issue because you're allowed 25 of them and I didn't even use that many saves when I didn't pay attention to ranks. I always had more of an issue with never being able to use any life medicines than anything else. Also, I didn't realize that cutscenes still counted towards your time so I forgot to skip some and wound up with just over five hours on my first run because of that. ive been playing this on 3ds and the third person shooting view breaks the game so much i could kill the fear in less than a minute since i could just run around aiming at him
