It is a homage to 1990s first person shooters such as Doom.[1] STRAFEŽ is a first-person shooter. Weapons at the player's disposal will include shotguns, machine guns and railguns. Merchants will appear, who the player can buy upgrades from.[2] The levels in the game are auto-generating. A different level will be generated after every load. The game will make use of the virtual reality head-mounted display Oculus Rift. The enemies and other things encountered by the player will be randomised. The game will feature digital gravity. Each weapon has a primary and secondary fire method. Power up items will allow the secondary fire to become much more powerful. There will be a secret super weapon hidden in the world.[3]

they showed a preview of this at that PC e3 and it was just a dude fighting a golem for what felt like an hour and then he went into another ~randomly generated~ room and the exact same golem inhabited that room

Also that whole show was a train wreck
