I'm a metalhead, but I occasionally really enjoy pop country like Shania Twain/Jewel/Carrie Underwood. I also sometimes listen to Civilization III/IV music on YouTube. This song is catchy as hell. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0to-Ls4XNA

You shouldn't feel guilty about liking any music That said, I loving love 80s gay disco (Erasure, Pet Shop Boys and the like), but I do tend to skip over those tracks if they come up while someone else is in the room or car with me. Not entirely sure why, but I always feel like I have to explain myself.

Lots and lots of video game music, both in its in-game forms and in arrangements/remixes. I've cooled way off since my heavy use days in late HS/early college but I still indulge it in every now and then. Hell, the other day I was listening to the Shovel Knight OST at work, and then I was driving somewhere with my wife and when I started my car the Bluetooth picked up right where I had left it and my wife called me a "loving nerd" I'm not sorry, plus one of my current jobs involve heavy editing of scientific manuscripts and listening to anything with lyrics (or spoken dialogue, like podcasts) makes it tough for me to concentrate, so game music is perfect for that.

This loving song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBswx7GEARc Fall Out Boy's Uma Thurman Even now looking it up to post in the thread I used an incognito window because I don't want this on my google search record. The sheer loving audacity to sample the munsters theme song and turning it into some tween rock song is enough to sell it for me.

I like Phil Collins Genesis but I also like Phil Collins solo. Also not guilty about it.

Can we include stuff that isn't a guilty pleasure but stuff that would elicit the response 'you listen to that?' if you played it front of people? Because if so the new Carly Rae Jepson album Emotion is super-good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeccAtqd5K8

You know that epic movie trailer music stuff? Two Steps from Hell, E.S. Posthumus? I love that poo poo. It's so silly and over the top with its omnoius Latin chanting, I just can't hate it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUJ_ifjKopM And I believe in T-Rextasy. Almost all of his (electric) songs were about sex and drugs, all to some metaphor about cars. Sold to teenage girls. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwyWwVUg1fE

What about music that isn't embarrassing in and of itself, more because listening to it reminds you of a particularly embarrassing time of your life? Because while I think The Libertines and Franz Ferdinand both had some really great songs, I can't listen to them without remembering how terrible I was when they were a thing.

Had to keep up appearance of being an emo in high school, I was a loving moron then. But I did enjoy pop rock a lot and this is still one of my favorites. It's also my house cleaning song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bg59q4puhmg

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wj10EzNKA2M It's not "so bad it's good", it's not kitsch, it's not cheesey, it's nothing that can be explained away. But I love it, and tear up a little listening to it. By the way, I am a grown man.
