Of course, anything you post should be something the author has allowed to be posted online, we don't want any copyright infringement.

I think my favorite is A Study in Emerald by Neil Gaiman. It's a Sherlock Holmes/Cthulhu Mythos pastiche. If you are at all familiar with things Holmes you should give it a read, it's brilliant (I'm assuming pretty much every goon is at least a bit familiar with Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos).

Then there's John Scalzi's April Fools joke The Shadow War of the Night Dragons which is a purported prologue to a new fantasy trilogy, and is really funny, especially if you've read much fantasy.

I'm gonna miss you when you're gone.
I'm not usually into body horror (and especially literary fiction body horror) but Palahniuk's short story, "Guts," has stuck with me for some time as being especially haunting. Palahniuk's style isn't for everyone, as it's a dark humor that is often wrapped in trappings of masculinity (this story is about jerking off in new and exciting ways), but this story frequently comes back into my mind at random intervals.
