Any of you coasterheads try Planet Coaster.. apparently its made by the RCT3 team and the alpha is the best RCT game ever which is pretty exciting for a ride freak like me.

Its epic that Cities Skyline came out of nowhere and became the new Sim City everyone wanted with zero advertising or anything, and now the exact same thing is happening in the world of roller coasters and merry go rounds.

If anyone gets into the alpha for Planet Coaster let me know.. Im really curious about it and the people in the RCT thread in Games are totally batshit and analyzing aerial views of Disneyworld and plotting diagrams of Space Mountain to show why the roller coasters in this new game suck.

I always thought length was the most important thing in a roller coaster in this game. Turns out guests prefer a denser (thicker?) ride.

in roller coaster tycoon guests love the shuttle loop and it's a ride that's over in 5 seconds and i expect the same strategy to work in all roller coaster games
