Planet Idiot

At the end of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective there's a Tone Lōc song called "Yo Ace is in the House". In the song, Ace Ventura says "Tone, put that big rear end size thirteen on and kick it for the homies" which demonstrates that Ace Ventura knows Tone Lōc personally. The strange part is that Ace Ventura also knows Officer Emilio, who is played by Tone Lōc in the film. There are several scenes demonstrating their friendship.

This means there are two identical men in the Ace Ventura universe -- One who is a famous rapper who raps about Ace Ventura and recorded a song with him, and another who is a police officer who is friends with Ace Ventura. At no point does this come up in either of the two films, or in the cartoon series (note the cartoon cannot be considered cannon, as Santa Claus appears in one episode).

This has been bothering me since 1994.

Maybe officer Emilio moonlights as a rapper? Police officers can have other talents and hobbies you know
