Standard: the bicycle with a wheel in the front and a wheel in the back, and you sit on it and pedal to go.

is usb3 less limited on n-key rollover? i remember hearing that usb2 was still a limit even if your keyboard could process every key being pressed simultaneously
|
# ? May 8, 2016 13:57 |

key rollover is based on the keyboard controller & matrix. I have a monoprice keyboard and it has full n-key rollover http://www.gigahype.com/nkey-rollover-test-page/ most keyboards use a cheap matrix where some keys are cross connected so they can't physically rollover certain keys at all

I love this little test. It's great watching keypresses in real time. But, I'm not sure about the N-key Rollover. I am using a Filco Tenkeyless MX Black mechanical keyboard. I came with USB as standard and the purple PS/2 adapter to plug into the 'legacy' PS/2 port on the mobo. I wasn't happy with that so I modded it out to a dedicated PS/2 connection on the mobo instead of PS/2 by adapter. I feel it works better. More direct some how. I can't really explain the difference but it feels more snappy it that makes sense. Just my two bits.
