Hotpuck sort of helped in the days of analogue TVs and bad picture quality. Couldn't see poo poo on those tiny TVs, being all blazed up and drunk as gently caress as I was back then.

Yeah, the players didn't like it because the puck bounced differently and real fans thought it was ugly as hell. Fortunately HD TVs make watching hockey easy.

The cameras do a pretty good job of following the puck when you watch on TV. In person you just have to pay attention or not have glaucoma

somebody who works at where i went to college actually has one of the glow pucks. usually when they went into the stands, the teams would send people out to get it from someone who had it, but for whatever reason, they never went for her
