the following birds patronize my feeders so far this year: - chickadees - goldfinches - purple finches - slate-capped juncos - red-winged blackbirds - mourning doves - nuthatches - titmice - various sparrows - cardinals - rose-breasted grosbeaks - downy and hairy woodpeckers - cowbirds (boo) - red squirrels (boo) - gray squirrels (get the hell out of here you fatass bastards)

Hoatzin smell loving terrible because they're the only bird that can digest leafy greens so they have to pack some nasty gut bugs to break down the fiber. The chicks have fingers on their wings because they're goddamn freaks
