i think you want to re-evaluate your theory that people who are watching videos on a website entirely devoted to watching videos are just listening to the audio.

ive always wanted to do something like this as a little kid with RC airplanes and now its A Thing but im pretty much completely uninterested in quadcopters, are people doing this with mini planes or is it entirely quadcopters

maybe i miscommunicated, i meant they are listening to the audio as well as watching the video, vs sites like instagram and facebook where they autoplay with no sound...

if you like wings checkout this guy

ive got some of his stuff, i'm just too busy flying my miniquads to put a wing in the air.

birds, dude

birds
It seems to be little birds getting sucked into turbines a long time ago or big birds that weigh 7x what most drones do smashing wind screens/turbines.

Which I guess answers that ya if it flies into props it would do damage sometimes.

Hey. I bought a mid grade drone about a month ago because of one of your other threads. It's actually pretty fun, thanks.

I've been looking into drones ever since your last thread. So thanks for that, I guess. It really looks like a dead neat hobby for a semisperg like myself.
Would a Syma X5SW be decent enough for a starter drone, according to you? I've been looking at that one in my shop here.

Mind you, I've never done this before so this would be my first one. Just to get my paddles wet, so to speak.
