If, like me, you are gay as all hell; or if you are otherwise a girl, this is simply the best movie. It has everything a girl could want. Kissing, poetry, literary references, shrews, heath ledger as a bad boy(rip), taming, chick-pop-punk, SHUT UP DAD, and dates. So yeah like I said it has everything. Watch it right the gently caress now.

Btw Shakespeare wrote the plot so if you talk poo poo about this movie you are an illiterate cretin. Or worse. French.

Although for my money, Salma Hayek still pretty much owns the title of sexiest bar room dance lady. Not for Dogma, but for that George Clooney Vampire movie. You know. The lovely one.

I saw this and Kung Pow in theatres. Ahh to be young again. Stiles and Ledger elevated what would have otherwise been dreck to enjoyable, but neither can save the abysmal sub plots. He did the same thing a few years later with A Knight's Tale, which is better than it had any right to be.
