you might have seen a lot of tech news reports touting the next big breakthrough, the so-called third phase of information technology, known generally as bug data.

bug data is the next big step in our understanding of the world, but what exactly is bug data?


  • there are many dfferent kinds of bugs

  • assassin bugs have the coolest name of any bug

  • it might seem like anything small is a bug but stuff like worms and ladybugs aren't actually bugs, but they are still considered bugs by many people

  • earthworms love to live in the dirt and it is good to have a lot of them in your garden


as you can see, bug data is filled with many different and interesting facts, and we are only just beginning to scratch the surface of bug data.

 i got a usb microscope asnd used it to look at a tiny 1mm bug



the camera was only 640x480 and couldnt focus well and took grainy pics like this



but i worked out how to make superresolution pics to increase detail and remove noise and stich them together using photoshop

this was after combining like 80 pics



then i had a bug funeral

sometimes I mash the random article on Wikipedia while holding down Command so it opens up like 50 new tabs with random articles and like 1/3 of them were about moths today

so I reckon the web is about 1/3 bugs
