As a kid, I watched an episode of Sister, Sister where word gets around town that the dad's limousine service caters to gay people. The gay dudes in it were pretty normal and cool and the dad is awkward but chill about it, the whole thing is played for giggles. For a show that came out in 1994, I thought that was pretty progressive.
