Tenasscity posted:It almost feels like they deliberately overtune certain cards to encourage people to buy more packs. Well, of course they do! And for the same reason they now print 3 legendaries per class per expansion, and one of those tends to be some always-useful card that finds a space in every deck for that class.

Clarste posted:This is the "Omen of One" after all. I assume each of them will have a different number-based gimmick. Yeah, all the cards have their number pretty firmly put somewhere in their card. 1 is highlander man 2 summons 2 different destructions one after another 3 is a 3/3 for 3 that has necro(3): spells in opponents hand cost 3 more 4 is a 4/4 for 4 that when evolved can't take 4+ damage 5 is a 5/5 for 5 6 is a 6/6 that reduces the opponents health to 6 max. 7 requires you to take damage 7 times during the match to get its buff. 8 has an enhance of 8. 9 spellboosts your cards 9 times. 10 draws both players 5 cards if it's the 10th turn or later.

For those keeping track, the game now ends at turn 7, sometimes 8 if you're really good at not dying at 7. Plan accordingly.
