Players will generally swing with all their power because that's how they're taught, it's very difficult to place the ball somewhere off the bat when the ball is going 95 with movement. Bunting is much easier with proper technique. When the pitcher winds up, you put your bat over the plate and move it straight up and down. So many players jab at the ball. I can bunt 95 but I used to be a great hitter before I tore my cuff.
