What happened on election day that you're actually excited about? Here in CO, we didn't get single payer healthcare () but we did vote for an increase to $12/hr minimum wage by 2020. We also voted for legal euthanasia, which is a big win IMO. Especially after seeing firsthand the effects of dementia and cancer on my relatives, it is cruel to deny those of sound mind the option to end their suffering. What about you folks?

Our city passed an initiative that will devote alot of funding to safer bike lanes in my city, and we tossed out our sole Tea Party city council member. Also I was told that today Krispy Kreme will still give you a free donut if you have an "I VOTED" sticker

We might finally get GWB and friends prosecuted for war crimes! I mean it's still extremely unlikely to happen but Trump really hates the Bushes and might get bored at some point.

Oklahoma reduced all forms of drug possession (up to a certain amount) to a misdemeanor and we stopped that lovely ballot proposal that would have raised sales tax to fund education (when we have the highest sales tax in the country already)

Georgia rejected a constitutional amendment that would have allowed the governor's office to seize and "reform" failing public schools (read: privatize & charter-ize them) so that's good. We also approved a ha'penny sales tax for expanding our woefully neglected public transit.
