It was intended for the PS2 at the very earliest stages of pre-development in 2004, but they switched it to the PS3 in 2005.

it's something Koei was working on before the merger but I don't think it was ever a PS2 game it's based on an unused Akira Kurosawa script that the president of Koei had a hard-on for so he rebooted the game a bunch of times with different studios within Koei-Tecmo until someone made something good

I think I'll buy this game closer to the summer. Is their much info on the DLC missions for the season pass or is that still up in the air? Also how is the online stuff? I don't remember if that was in the demos or not.

Only the strong mode or whatever is good, I expected it to just level up the enemies but there are added ones and the regular enemies have new moves.
