Question from the peanuts

Has bray challenged for the IC or US title belts? It seems like everyone wants him to always be a world heavyweight champion, but he's never been built up beyond the midcard. It doesn't help that his faction is/was used as the primary jobber crew for a while (with them taking the loss for the shortest wrestlemania match, against El Rocko).

The thing going for him though is his character. Yeah it's obtuse and insane, but having that supernatural touch provides a pretty good 'out' for anyone written into a corner, and gives the kids a beast to fear.

Thought about fire, has anyone seen Kane recently?

Bray went directly to the World Title level. He's never challenged for a lower belt before that tag thing with Orton. Backstage sources have said multiple times that Vince believes he succeeded in making a new Undertaker with Bray, and his slot on the card seems to reflect that even if his booking has crippled him.

I often reflect on the fact that Bray's biggest spotlight moment in the infancy of his career was losing to two out of three to John Cena, with the one win making him look like a fool and a coward while also requiring the help of two men and a demon child. Taker's big singles moment was beating Hogan and becoming World Champion with no physical assistance beyond being handed a chair, then dropping the belt back on a show almost nobody saw with Hogan needing an illegal weapon attack to take him down.

Taker also didn't lose his next 8 feuds, one of which was to the 20-year veteran magic wrestler who preceded him.

It's kind of hilarious how "has a girlfriend" is literally the most character development John Cena has had in years.

That's not true, he's also changed his merch hawking shirts he wears to the ring a few times, and uh.... well there was that one time he, uh....

okay well he's acting like a smug rear end in a top hat now sort of, which is at least a little bit different.
