Down came the glitches and burned us in ditches and we slept after eating our dead.
Eleections I plan on posting threads about already:

Virginia Governor Democratic primary starring Perriello (Primaries start in June)
Georgia congressional seat starring Ossof (Going on now)

Post any that aren't in the above list here!

I was gonna try to do a Virginia is for Gently Caressing Lovers - Election Guide 2017 thread when I have time, but it sounds like you're gonna beat me to it.

Please remember to include the 100 state house seats that are up for grabs in VA as well.

New Jersey Governor
Montana At Large Congressional Special
South Carolina 5th Congressional Special
California 34th Congressional Special
Kansas 4th Congressional Special

Various Mayorals including:
New York City
Minneapolis
Seattle
St. Louis
Atltanta

It might be good to just have a 2017 U.S. election thread for mayorals, VA/NJ state leg races, and anything else that won't be big enough to get its own thread

Here's the rundown on the GA special election:
April 18 - all-party primary
If no candidate reaches 50 percent, the top two finishers, regardless of party, will advance to a June 20 runoff.

The expected GOP winner of their side of the primary is Karen Handel, a former Georgia SoS who led the charge to get Susan G. Komen to cut funding to Planned Parenthood (they relented and it led to her resignation).

Please do a full Virginia guide! I'm just gonna be starting threads for individual major races that Goons can hopefully contribute to, I am definitely not doing an effort post about a hundred state house seats so definitely do that yourself, hah. And if you're in a position to do that, you're probably in a better position than me to do the thread on the governor's race too, so get on it!

I'll do my best. There's not a ton of information on who's running yet at the state house level because you turn in your petitions to get on the primary ballot between March 13 and March 30.

I feel sorry for whatever republican has to run to replace Chris Christie in New Jersey. I know you should never underestimate the democrats ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, but I think I they are safe in the state that Hillary Clinton won by 14 points, and have a republican governor with a 21% approval rating.
The democrat will still lose
