Other than overtime desperation at the end of regulation with the goalie pulled might be my favorite hockey thing.

Why couldn't the bird team have had the same result late in the third two nights in a row?

Well, poo poo. I thought the Pens played a good game. Not the cleanest third but whatever. Liking their chances to advance again now that they've got home ice back.

Sens spent at least 30 of those 60 minutes being watched by a whole pile of people who didn't have Reese.

Really hard to see the Penguins managing to win the series if they drop game 5 since they continue to lose defensemen at the steady reliable rate of one per game I do feel better with Murray back there though Still think the Ducks will wax either team in the SCF, though rarely have I so fervently hoped to be wrong

The worst thing about a Pens-Ducks final is that Creepy Rory is going to score about 14 goals against this D crew, it hasn't even happened yet and I'm already getting pissed off thinking about it Go Preds. Please?

Am I crazy in thinking it's entirely possible the Pens still find a way to win the Cup even if they'd draw the Ducks? They've been beaten to hell injury-wise since before Game 1 in the ECQF, the currently active D corps sucks and, yet, they're two wins away from the SCF. They've found a way, even if the script is "survive the first, pull out to a big enough lead in the second, and hang on for dear life successfully somehow in the third". The secret to the Pens' success in the ECF is that they're playing the Senators

CBJSprague24 posted:Am I crazy in thinking it's entirely possible the Pens still find a way to win the Cup even if they'd draw the Ducks? Nah I can see it happening. They can still just outscore someone on any given night and the Ducks are seemingly incapable of not shooting themselves in the foot when things are going well. Fleury has stolen games almost by himself a couple of times these playoffs and Murray is better if he's completely ready to go. I wouldn't say it's likely, but I can imagine it happening.
