ok so like twitter u only see things by people you follow and each post is "tagged" with a hierarchy much like #shsc #yospos #threadname so u can read the entire aubforum at once or just each thread quoting is paramount (because things will become unreadable without it

and because the only way to discover new posters might be coz someone has quoted them and u can post to just #yospos rather than specify a thread and people have avatars and there is a $2 sign up fee and it's moderated much like an e-bullying popularity contest

basically a forum/subforum/thread tag functionality (which is optional for readability but not essential for posting) on top of twitter and no character limit even i could make this. in python. and run it from new Eland

there is an interesting concept here, op. but twitter has a huge bootstrapping and discovery problem that is a big hurdle to new users. on twitter they can follow people they already know or heard about, on your forum they don't know anyone. also if you don't have a good app then gtfo
