I'd been waiting for this game since they showed it at that horrible PC gaming conference at E3 a while back. After years of waiting it's finally here, and I'm happy to say that it's great. I've been trying out the Commander role more recently and it's pretty fun too- I hadn't really chosen that in the first RS.

This game is all goomba stomp feels. From the headshot sound to the arty fire. It's all so good.

The sound effects in the beta were all really hollow and assy and I'm glad they were able to change that before launch. They're big and meaty and it sounds like a war is actually going on

So, is this game still highly-regarded, after any post-release hype has died down? I'm hoping it's good, as I've been interested in trying it out, too. Hopefully it's still active - RO2 died down in activity fairly quickly (not completely, but there was definitely a drop in playerbase size. In Australia at least), since I love myself a good jungle FPS. So, does CCR's 'Ride of the Valkyries' play when you fly a Huey?  (Also, how big are the maps? Seeing as there's aircraft I would assume they're fairly large - not as big as BF:V though, no doubt)
