My 95 year old grandma really wants to know what happened to him, but her screen reader doesn't read images with lovely photoshop filters on them. /s

But really, as a web dev, these people need to think about accessibility. Posting lineups and announcements as images is a lovely way to include people with bad eyes or whatever reason there is to need large fonts/screen readers.

When you attach an image to a tweet you can annotate it with >140 chars (I think), the text shows up as alt-text/title attribute and is well supported by screen readers and accessibility tools. Almost nobody does that though. "Add description" underneath the thumbnail when a pic is added to a tweet.
