I always avoid looking at the number of pages if it's not Wookipedia or something because I'm afraid it'll be a really awkward low number.

From the edit history of http://disgaea.wikia.com/wiki/Seraphina (In the end they deleted the "appearance" section entirely rather than write an actual description.)

whatever the cost of giving high-functioning autists free run of human society, as a fan of old game shows and their associated minutiae, I say it's been worth it

Well sure you'd say that, you've got free run of human society now.

Not sure if this is a fan wiki exactly since it's all/mostly original content, but I think it's in the spirit of this thread: http://dozerfleet.wikia.com/wiki/Main_page http://dozerfleet.wikia.com/wiki/Stationery_Voyagers quote:Stationery Voyagers is an satirical serial space opera television series in development by Dozerfleet Productions. A team of diplomatic recon-oriented anthropomorphic writing utensils seek to prevent widespread imperialism in their star system, only to find themselves accidental heroes destined to battle an even bigger scheme by an ancient evil which threatens the eternal damnation of their entire universe. It was first envisioned in 2000, and has been undergoing numerous revisions since. http://dozerfleet.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Stationery_Voyagers_characters And here are some of the baddies. Links were in the original. quote:The Paltaki Organization, which seeks to wipe out the Voyagers' implied resistance to their agenda to conquer traditional Antian society on Mantith by way of the sexual corruption of its youth. Their angry mobs are a constant threat to the Voyagers' safety on Mantith. They are a less-than-unified nationwide organization. Some of their chapters actually care about the youth and families in their local towns. Other chapters, such as the one in Illontin City, are hopelessly corrupt and are involved in illegal body part rackets. The guy made his own TV Tropes vanity page, too: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DarthWiki/StationeryVoyagers quote:Bizarre Alien Reproduction: Subverted. The way they [pens and pencils] have sex is very similar to human reproduction, although they require different positions and derive less pleasure from it than we do. They are, however, more sensitive to sex-enhancement drugs, which put them in a trance easier. Where's that pencil-breaking troper when you need him? Did he put it onto Evil TV Tropes himself, or did they move it there? If its the latter then my opinion of that site just went up, because that’s way funnier than deleting it.

I don't like it when video game wiki pages have large trivia pages filled with extremely basic observations, I know it's not an insane fetish hole but there is a whole generation of people that thinks "trivia" means any sort of information possibly transmittable. The video game character who is a dice-man who runs a casino uses casino themes in his boss fight.

On the same note as above, I hate wikia's for movies and TV shows that needlessly spoil future episodes. Like you'll watch the Pilot episode of a show and check out the Wikia, and the trivia is full of stuff like, 'This is the last appearance of x till his death in episode 36' etc.

Even better is when they're terrified of making a direct statement of fact, so you get a lot hesitant "possibly"s seeded throughout. The mini boss fights in the board game are possibly a reference to casinos and gambling. Possibly.

In fairness I've seen enough poo poo like "Chess is a two-player (Original research?) board game [Questionable: See Talk Page] played using pieces on a 64-square checkered grid. [Citation needed]" to have a little bit of sympathy for the people who swing too far in the other direction. e; Also that Silent Hill circumcision thing is incredible
