Quite some time ago there was a long, funny effortpost in GBS about a poster's extended family in the backwoods of the Philippines, and how their tribe went to ritual "war" with the neighboring tribe and raced these terrifying little homebrew scooters that were all made out of wood down mountain roads, with a lot of photos. The post made it to the front page as an article, but now I can't seem to find either that or the original post. Does anyone else remember it? Possibly around 2008 or so, and I think the guy who made the post later got banned.
