Also there's an extensive scoring system and lots of ways to get extra points with tighter timing

theres a pretty good arcade by me that got Music Gun Gun 2, and i've gotten super into that. you have a gun peripheral and shoot these targets to the beat. i'm not super versed on rhythm games and i get the impression it's kinda 'entry level' but it's pretty fun.

Check out Riff Racer, it's like Audiosurf mixed with Ridge Racer. I think it's a bit easy once you get a handle on the driving but I still have fun with it.

Idk if crypt of the NecroDancer counts but it's fun and cool. That and ouendan are my fave rhythm games. Man ouendan left me with such a rush beating some of the final stages.

It's very fun, not sure how to use my 8 button stick with good layouts and it seems like a complicated game to get with on a pad but who cares. I'll wait for it to go on sale and buy it

i played so much DJMAX RESPECT over the weekend my thumb hurts....but i did a-s rank and MAX combo almost every song .... on 4b normal... except Blythe and a couple songs that start at like 8 or 9 difficulty on normal  and the 5 or so songs i haven't unlocked
