i want that party based isometric RPG experience

Original Sin's appeal for both 1 and 2 are in the amount of freedom it gives you and rewarding creativity in combat. Pillars of Eternity is more along the old Infinity Engine games. Rattle off some isometric RPGs you liked, and why you liked them, because some people liked Arcanum for the setting and world building, some people hated Planescape Torment because the combat is rear end and would rather play Fallout Tactics despite its faults, and some people even liked Temple of Elemental Evil. No one ever liked Lionheart though, I assure you.

I'm enjoying Wasteland 2: Directors Cut and Pillars was fun but the beginning is a bit of a drag.

I really wanted to like the game because I'm a sucker for some post-apocalypse, but the combat was such a chore and most of it was unavoidable from what I remember.

idk how you gently caress up isometric rpg combat so badly. People have been making these games since forever and plenty of them have made punching orcs fun.

Nothing in Jurassic World is natural, we have always filled gaps in the genome with the DNA of other animals. And if the genetic code was pure, many of them would look quite different. But you didn't ask for reality, you asked for more teeth.
Play FFX-2. You control three hot chicks who change into a bunch of different sexy outfits depending on which jobs you assign them . And the best part is, Yuna does a hot, sexy dance when she casts certain spells!

There was a part in wasteland 2 where I found an explosive attached to a car. "Odd," I thought to myself. Then spoke with an NPC, who wanted to run away or something. I encouraged him to escape and follow his dreams. After cutting off the dialogue, he ran toward the trapped car, and I'm thinking, "No way he would..." and then he recreates the scene in Casino. I was sold at that point. Just play on easy and enjoy the bizarreness of the game.

I'm not much of a gamer anymore but I really enjoy shorter rogue-like inspired games like FTL and Skyshine Bedlam. They are very randomised so you get a different experience every time and you can usually wrap up in under an hour.

I will not shut up about the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I talk about them all the time and work them into every conversation I have. I built a shrine in my room for the yellow one who died because sadly no one noticed because she died around 9/11. Wanna see it?

There's mods for that, but I haven't tried them. Maybe once I unlock the hidden ship

There should start being an old man league for video games. Like that reaction time drop off is a Beeoch for competitive games.

I would watch, just below the best people play, so long as they have some personality instead of the robo-wannabe-Olympic-gymnastics-cardboard personality like current players.

I don't wanna see people play to the best level of humanity; I wanna see some poo poo talking.

Unironically this--instruments are a fantastic hobby and it's just super fun to chill and pluck away at something and make music. Plus it's super satisfying to get better at it all the time.

Learn your children to play video games:
* The computer or console will be occupied all the time, you won't have access to it anymore.
* They'll be quiet so you can read a book about bringing up children

It's always a waste unless you buy during one of the 30 steam/gog sales that run constantly throughout the year.
