With the passing of Joma Sison, I wanna ask about early history of the movement. From what I've read Sison and the younger generation had a break with the party leadership over wanting to do another armed rebellion vs not ready yet pointing to the previous failed Huk rebellion not achieving a nation wide scope. So I was wondering how did the maoist overcome the previous revolutionary stumbling block to spread throughout the country and keep on going up to present day?
