Also, let's name all the Tom waits acting roles: Basically every Jim Jarmusch movie My personal favorite being his scene with Iggy Pop in Coffee & Cigarettes. His role in Down by Law is also v. good.

He's one of the greatest ever. His last couple albums have been amazing too. Bawlers Brawlers and Bastards, Bad as Me... on bad as me he has tracks with Les Claypool and Keith Richards. He was also drat good on the NASA track with Kool Keith
