I might be misremembering, but didn't it turn out that the towns two cults were actually one big super cult? I swear the Gargoyle King stuff and the farm nonsense converged at one point. Also, remember how Edgar Evernever built a rocket ship and then he died on the way to his home planet when it exploded? I still don't know how to feel about that.

The Sisters of Mercy asylum had the original gargoyle statue. It was implied that the Gargoyle cult started there. I think the Farm moved in right after Betty LARPed the last of the patients to freedom.

I love how little it comes up that Alice drained all their finances to give to the cult and the only time it came up was during a "both sides bad" argument because Betty doesn't get in to Stanford.

I like how Charles is the nicest person who has ever plotted against Betty. He helped her fake a murder, cover up a different murder, deal with a cult, Violated basically every FBI protocol…
