Like the box says, John Company charts the fortunes of the British East India Company, the most powerful corporation to ever exist. You play as multiple family members with investments into the Company. In the short scenario we'll be exploring you'll mainly earn Victory Points by getting family members out of the Company and giving them cushy retirements as Ambassadors to France or refurbishing the family castle. The key thing to remember is that your goal isn't necessarily to run a good company! You want to make money however you can and then leave another player holding India when it explodes in famine and revolt   I've still got a little fiddling to do with my image files (there's not a VASSAL module for this game yet, go figure) but I wanted to open up this thread for signups in the meantime. I'll update the OP with a breakdown of the rules ASAP. This is a work in progress, and all criticism is welcome. Read the Rules here. I’ve been looking forward to this. I’ve never played this game but am very curious to see if it justifies its price tag. Since I’ve never played before I’ll only join if we’re short. Definitely going to spectate tho.
