I try to pull away but with where her hands are it just means that my blouse is pulled up as I try to scooch back. No no no. She's going to see more of the seams. I can't be made my first year. That's frankly embarrassing. I refuse to be such a failure. Not even taking into account what might be done with failed projects of the Eddington secret division. I need to power through it. I press the shirt into Victoria's face and pull it off to keep it there. "Just don't look, okay? Don't look at anything!" This is so bad. I feel like I'm over heating. None of this will effect the bonding on the skin sections, right? The quick maintenance type mostly relies on magnets. It should be fine. "God, I want to die..." She's a little weird, but nice enough, and I don't want to put her through any more than she must already be in what with being targeted by bullies, and all those scars... After Min and I split up I make a sprint to my locker, hoping that Marielle will have been patient enough to wait for me. That whole weird interlude took kinda longer than I'd hoped (or shorter maybe? poo poo girl, get it together!) but I'm pretty fast on my feet and with a bit of dodging around slower students and sliding down the banister I make it too my locker and see that she's still there. I pull up and lean on the locker next to her just as she's checking the time on her phone, my hair all over the place and cheeks slightly red from the run. "Phew. Hey Mari, sorry that took forever. Some jerk glued Minerva to her chair and I had to walk her to her room because it ripped her skirt clean off so I lent her my towel, and then there was a whole thing with her...uh, forget it." Marielle probably doesn't need to know the rest of the sordid details there. I check to make sure no-one's listening in but lean closer to half whisper anyway. "Anyway, yeah, three ghost problem is like, a literal ghost. I was snooping at the pool changing rooms last night, there was some pretty classic poltergeist activity, and I think I saw August. I don't know what the heck to do about it, but maybe you have some ideas?" I smile hopefully and try and get my hair back under control with my hands.

My rapport with Jeff is... strained. We both have a lack of patience for ignorant people. But that short fuse that extend to each other. I find him in the office. He hasn't been dragged along to help some dinosaur work their power point. I was called over but honestly you can't be sure with this clown show. "Yeah? What's up?"
