It's more along the lines of "we're dipshits doing highly illegal kidnapping and torture of an individual that has a few connections away from high ranking members of the Union, also respecting our culture is the reason" It'd be like if there was a planet of any other close minded fools doing highly illegal poo poo. Then whole gender thing was just the catalyst.

That's okay though. Episode 5 is my favorite and made me cry a lot. I think you'll find out why. I mean some really good parts in all the episodes.

What was the design they used for the interior of Moclan black sites inspired by? It’s obviously brutalist, but I want to know if there were any actual inspirations from real life. Episodes 3.08 and 3.09 for reference, assuming The Orville doesn’t use some bizarre Simpsons episode numbering system.

Just started Season 3—didn't want to pay for more than a month of Disney+.  I can already tell the tone is a little different, and gently caress was it weird to hear Norm MacDonald's voice. Looking forward to the new direction!
