Yes there is. Xiaomi's mi series is pretty much that, LG's nexus phones used to be, and I'm pretty sure Huawei phones mostly fit the bill as well. Buy a Chinese phone, dumbasses. Really my OnePlus One was perfectly fine until last year, and when I was looking to upgrade, CPU performance was never once a consideration for the kind of stuff a phone is used for. Laptops and desktops are also "fast enough" and have been for years, since for most people they're just facebook and Office machines. Although at least do massive photo processing, 3D and video rendering, machine learning and a lot of other stuff that takes a lot of time time benefits massively from higher CPU performance so I hope Intel gets its head out of its rear end soon enough.

I will never give up my mid-range Moto and its dumb gimmicky mods. The battery one is really great. Being able to slap an extra 12 hours of life seamlessly onto the phone is something I can't live without and way more important to me than ensuring I have enough CPU power to render PornHub ads. The gamepad is decent enough for short bursts of play and doesn't lag like Bluetooth ones tend to and the button layout maps perfectly onto my PlayStation emulator. I'll probably never own the Hasselblad zoom camera or mini-projector ones though.

The phone went though FCC filings recently and it's been leaked with a lower-end Snapdragon and a similar design to current Pixel phones several times. No idea what's taking Google so long on the announcement though.

Your page is a loving 10 field form and four paragraphs of copy I shouldn't need 8GB of RAM for it to load in less than 10 seconds over a high speed connection. Generally related phone chat: latest version of the spotify app on iOS seems to run like poo poo compared to the old one

Never had to worry about JavaScript's "flavors", slow page loading times, shady tracking poo poo, or JQuery and its total redundancy as of the last few years. Raw es6 has been fine. It's not just for trivial stuff either, I've been making interactive tutorials with lots of 3D graphics canvases and live readouts / controls this way.
