The horrid X-Men Origins: Wolverine is basically a no-budget porn parody without the porn from the hilariously terrible costumes to the very bad acting to the nonsensical plot. It's really bad. Terrifyingly bad enough that it makes Apocalypse look competently produced and filmed.

So was the "falling off the Nuclear power plant" and "stupid CGI zoom to Agent Zero from a mile away". Basically anything that looked like a video game will be in that movie.

I remember when my dad downloaded a version of this movie that didn't have the final CGI in. That scene didn't improve much in the final version.

I’m not going to defend the movie but I seem to remember the studio coming in and really loving with the movie vs what the director wanted. It was supposed to be a hard R movie and was shot that way till the studio said “Na no way” and things had to be adjusted to make it pg-13.

Why is it so hard to get the X-Men right? There's also like 3 terrible teen-mutant/x-men universe related shows that are streaming. Unless they've already been cancelled. Then I'm reminded of Legion, which is watchable and fun despite it's shortcomings. It's funny how far they go out of their way to not mention anything mutant or Xmen related. Although I guess Professor X shows up next season

The early reports are not good. Seems that the trailer did better in China so they are making last minutes changes for that. Some of the cast are reporting regret if taking the role. Seems like they are just taking the plot of X3 and redoing it.

I think the movie will bomb but they won't blame the plot. Instead they'll probably say that movie goers were burned out because Captain Marvel, Shazam, and Avengers are being released just weeks from each other.
