There is such an urgent need for homes all over the country, people just don't want to foster anymore and there is simply nowhere to place kids already in the system. Don't want to deal with toddlers/babies? There are tons of teenage kids in the system just looking for a place to call home. Sorry to hijack the thread. It seems a lot of people are reaching out for a way to actually make a difference. Exploring a place in the world of foster care might be a good place to start.
