My prime Kofi moment is the 2012 Royal Rumble. I'd got back into wrestling in 2011 but Kofi had never really stood out that much, mostly cause he was always wrestling Dolph Ziggler. I drew #11 in the Roulette and my guy turned out to be Kofi. I was already going all in on my pick in the GDT and then he did his handstand spot and I absolutely lost my poo poo. While he was never my favourite he always held a certain place in my heart for that moment and over the last few months that has blossomed in a major way

I won't say I ever hated Kofi, but I certainly got tired of him when he was wallowing in the midcard having best of 1000 series with Sheamus and Ziggler and Orton. He seemed to be enjoyed the New Day way more than that, and it made me appreciate him, too, so I'm glad he won!
