You can block someone's attack by mirroring their attack and then morphing it into another attack which you delay by dragging the mouse away from yourself to avoid their parry, among a million other things. Man, I can't wait for this. Pretty much the only complaint I had against Chivalry was all the dumb spinny bullshit, and with that removed this looks like more or less the ideal iteration on that concept. The customization is aces as well. Also, anybody remember that Deadliest Warrior DLC for Chivalry? That one actually also limited the spinning shenanigans by implementing tighter active frames, but unfortunately it also had a faster and more frantic pace, so it never was quite as satisfying as vanilla.

This game looks very good and I want it for the character customization alone, but the fact that there’s gonna be a bunch of people who have been playing this skill based game for two years running around seems like it’s gonna make things lovely for new players e; this and the other mordhau thread should duel to the death double e; op mentions this is first and third person, p much all the footage I’ve seen has been first person-is there a toggle or is it contextual? free hubcaps fucked around with this message at 13:23 on Apr 28, 2019 |
