Hello folks, How are y'all feeling about the DIY subforum right now? Any changes needed? Some proactivity? Do the plumbing and electrics threads still need to be stickied? Should we do more community stuff like collabs or secret santas, top chef type equivalent things? Should we just leave everything as it is? Post your thoughts here, I'll leave it stickied for a little while.

I think the big 3 sticky threads should stay that way despite ebbs and flows of traffic. They're really good for covering the majority of quick questions people who don't regularly visit this forum might have and very helpful for those of us who do.

It might not hurt to reboot some of the megathreads that are literally ten years old at this point.

Perhaps with a naming tweak? Two reference wiring and two reference plumbing, it's a bit confusing. A fresh chance at a more up to date OP?

The HVAC thread could be stickeyed. And yeah the Fix it Fast thread could use another, less confusing title. Fix it Fast - Now with 60% less engineered beams.

All of this has been implemented now (except for rebooting threads since there wasn't enough justification). Closing thread. If anything else comes up, shoot me a PM or email at jaded.burnout69@gmail.com
