At work, I need to be able to measure the kinetic viscosity of water-based solutions. Water has a ~ 1 mm2/sec (centistoke I believe). Would a U-tube viscometer like this: https://www.supplymylab.com/Equipment/Glass-Viscometers/_/BSIPRF-U-TUBE-REVERSED-FLOW-VISCOMETERS work? As I read the spec it appears to require 7ml of fluid for testing and there is a version for measuring between 0.6 to 3 centistokes. Has anyone used these sort of devices?
