The Forge world of Platus was well known in the Ultima Segmentum for being the largest source of Atomic weaponry in the Segmentum, and the second largest source in the Imperium. This was owed to the planet’s density, which led the world to having an extremely large concentration of radioactive isotopes. When the planet was discovered by the [REDACTED] Legion during the Great Crusade, the swords of the feudal level civilization on the surface had high enough radioactive trace elements that it was known that wounds from the weapons were incredibly dangerous. Shortly after the Priests of Mars claimed dominion of the world due to the strategic importance of the resources. The world was first used to mine the unstable elements, but then Logisticians of the Mechanicus decided it would be most efficient to mine, enrich, and produce all on the same world. Life on Platus for the billions of menials was short and painful. Most worked in the mines, while those who were inducted into the Cult Mechanicus were entrusted with enrichment and production. Radiation sickness and tumors were widespread on the world, and the local variations on the Cult Mechanicus preached that rad burns and tumors were signs that the Omnissiah was blessing the poor victim. For ten thousand years life went on this way, until the fall of Cadia and the birth of the Citratix Maledictum. Suddenly Platus was cut off from the Agri-world that had provided the billions of miners on the world with food and order quickly broke down. While the Mechanicus quickly retrofited their servitor cloning vats to try and clone Grox, only a fraction of the population could be fed. Food riots quickly broke out, and the Lords of Mars locked themselves in their Forge Complexes while the miners starved by the millions. This only lasted for a few months before the terror of the Greenskins arrived. The xenos invasion led to the menial class quickly ending their food riots. While the Skitarii of the Mechanicus fought valiantly, the sheer number of the Orks, plus the confined fighting of the mine complexes, led to their quick demise. Soon all the miners were pressed into service, with as many as possible augmented and armed with integrated weaponry. The fighting in the mines was fierce. The Orks dug in, literally and figuratively, and raided atomic stockpiles. The Dominas of the Mechanicus were confused, as the Orks were stealing the atomics, but refused to use them. They only discovered too late what the Orks intended. Nine months after Cadia fell, Platus broke apart. The orks, driven by a desire to “create da biggest rok fleet dere’s eva been,” had been collecting the atomics and burrying them deep. Then all at once they detonated them all, cracking the planet into pieces. Millions died from the quakes, billions more perished when the gravity well failed and all the atmosphere vented off into space. High Lord Magos Ataran Delta aboard his Arch Mechanicus vessel the Gael-Leo loaded up as much of the population as he could and they fled the system. Without a home, Magos Ataran decided to use the strength left to him to go to wherever the Mechanicus needed help in the Dark Imperium. Guided by archeotech from the Dark Age of Technology that allowed the Gael-Leo to navigate the warp without an Astropath or the light of the Astronomican, the ragtag survivors went out to crusade in the name of the Omnissiah. Welcome to my Only War campaign that will focus on being sort of Skitarii forces. Only War was made before the newest incarnation of the Skitarii as an army on tabletop with Galvanic rifles and such. While I could have tried to homebrew a bunch of the new weapons, you're instead survivors of a Forge World who are using mostly second tier weapons. Character creation and regimental information is below. I tried to make Character creation diceless, so everything is max, point buy, and in the places where a roll was needed, I made that roll already and gave everyone the same. We will be open to advanced specialties, so keep that in mind when planning your character path. I want a mix of different characters, but if we get enough interest, I will certainly take more than one class type, especially Weapon Specialists and Heavy weapons who are focused in different places. Please give some background on your character, and answer the following questions in doing so: 1. How did you survive during the food shortages after the Great Rift opened? 2. Do you wish to fight, or were you conscripted against your will? 3. What is your character hoping for long term? Settling on a new world? Dying in the Omnissiah's name? Something else? Character Creation: Starting exp is core, so 600 for the guard specialists and 300 if someone wants to be an Enginseer. Characteristics will be point buy. So start with 20 in each stat, spend 100 points, no more than 20 points put into an attribute. Wounds are max, and everyone gets 2 fate points. Regiment: Survivors of Platus Characteristic Modifiers: +5 Intelligence and +3 to Perception or Ballistic Skill, +3 Agility, -3 Toughness Starting Aptitudes: tech Starting Skills: Common lore (Adeptus Mechanicus), Common Lore (Tech), Linquistics (low Gothic), Linguistics (Techna Lingua), Logic, Navigate Surface, Security, Tech use +10, Trade (Technomat) Starting Talents: Die Hard, Sprint, Exotic weapon training (integrated weapons) Traits: Mechanicus Implants -The True Flesh: Start with Mechanicus Implants trait. Everyone is treated as an Enginseer and Guardsmen for the purposes of prerequisites. Survivor’s Guilt: Begin play with 10 insanity Last survivors: When trying to replace comrades roll a d10. 1-2 no replacement, 3-4, from original regiment, 5-10 come from elsewhere. Sappers: +10 on tech use or trade (technomat) to build or disassemble a structure. Wounds: Generated Normally. Gear: Integrated Las-Rifle Venator Blade One Flak Vest and one Helmet Two Frag Grenades Two Smoke Grenades Two common or one good craftsmanship cybernetic One Lascutter Red Robes (uniform) Poor weather gear Rucksack Anointed Toolkit Mess kit and canteen Blanket and sleep bag 2 weeks rations Favored Basic Weapon: Platus Rad-Shotgun: This weapon was developed during the final weeks of the war against the Greenskins. The weapon is nothing more than a standard shotgun with irradiated shot, but it proved effective during the tunnel fighting against the orks, and many from the Regiment carry it instead of an integrated weapon. Class: Basic Range: 30 Meters RoF: s/-/- Dam: 1d10+4I Pen: 0 Clp:8 Reld: Full Special: Scatter Irradiated (1)* *From Black Crusade-Tome of decay. Lindserra Salbeck Background: Lindserra was the only daughter of one of the many small families whose generations worked the mines, unrelenting and dutiful in service. Quite curious as a child, and keen-eyed, she didn't have quite the same blindly dutiful outlook her parents did. Of course, having only spent a few years in the mines herself, she wasn't as affected by the time of the food riots. So, she fought for the scraps she could, working together with a few of her fellow young-bloods from the mines to secure what scraps of food they could for their own families. She hated having to do it; hated having to get violent to protect what they were legitimately given from other groups; but she rationalized it, telling herself that it was clearly the will of the Omnissiah that she was alive and if she died, then she could not serve Him later. And then the Orks arrived. In a flash of her childhood rebelliousness, and seeing only a continuation of grudging mindlessness that the riots had shown her parents work to be if she went back to the mines, Lindserra volunteered for service. Perhaps she felt it was a way out from her parents' horrid future when the Orks were beaten back. She soon found herself in the thick of the fighting in the mining tunnels, rad-shotgun in hand, earning a name for herself (accusations of glory-hounding be damned, what else could you do but your all to save your comrades, your home and, maybe, yourself?). Perhaps there was a natural talent hiding under there, but she'd always claim luck and guidance from the Omnissiah was the core of it. Luck of course runs out, and eventually, she lost an arm shoving a grenade into the mouth of an Ork trying to charge her squad; the respiratory system was a nominal 'reward' for that act of heroism, not that she really had much say on it. Fortunately, that meant she was recovering from surgery on the Gael-Leo when the Orks shattered Platus. Lindserra hasn't really had time to think about the future since Platus died; she's spent too much time trying to come to terms with the planet's loss and her role in this new life. Her original grand plan was to avoid going back to the mines once Platus was freed, but that's obviously not happening now. Still, the idea of a new hard-won hearth and home, on a planet with no mines, no toxicity and peace (most certainly no damned Orks!) certainly might appeal... quote:Stats: *This was the training you get just for being a Guardsman. Would this be Skitarii rather than Imperial Guard considering? **Which book is Las-rifle in? Couldn't find the stat block in core. ***Same question as las-rifle. (Also, theoretically, if I *was* looking for a Galvanic or Arc rifle in future, what weapon class would it be? I might change the Plasma Weapon Training slot.) Serpentis posted:
* Yes, if there is something that gives you a lore for Imperial Guard, make it Skitarii. Both the integrated las rifle and the venator blade are found in the Shield of Humanity around page 125 for integrated weapons in general, and the las rifle and venator blade in the pages to follow. Don't worry so much about galvanic or arc weaponry, stick with plasma. Especially with the Catalytic Mass driver and phased plasma rifle from Shield of Humanity potentially available later on. Also there is a discord channel for any questions and other logistics.

Magna Rho Rho Magna Rho Rho was born the eldest child of a relatively privileged Cult Mechanicus clan. From time immemorial, his family had been tasked with the maintenance and operation of a small fleet of Sentinel Powerlifters. These vehicles were used to transport cargo loads within the mines and factories, especially when the environment was too chaotic for a monotask servitor to be used instead. When his father was killed in an industrial accident, his MIU was ceremonially removed and implanted in Magna, as was tradition. After food riots broke out a few months later, his clan was spared starvation by their position; they were reassigned to transport foodstuffs within the Forge Complexes and received a food stipend in return. The last thing the Cult Mechanicus wanted was for the desperate miners outside to have access to heavy lifters. When the Orks struck, his family was reassigned again, this time to battlefield logistics. Unfortunately, the unarmed Sentinels quickly became favored targets whenever the Orks broke through Skitarii lines, with the greenskins competing to see who could make one explode most violently. Magna was forced to abandon his own Sentinel when it was legged by a Killa Kan, a loss that still gnaws at him today. With his inheritance gone and his family mostly dead, he volunteered immediately when the Mechanicus called for a new generation of Skitarii. They replaced his eyes (already beginning to cloud over from radiation-induced cataracts) and sent him out the door, not expecting him to live long. As it turns out, the reflexes required to pilot a walker through a crumbling mine also made him a good scout, not that there was much need. It was never hard to find Orks until the end came. Ultimately, Magna dreams of becoming an Ironstrider Ballistarius or a Sydian Dragoon. The opportunity to commune with the machine spirit of one of the ancient and ceaseless Ironstrider Engines is the highest honor he can imagine. To this end, he is steadfastly determined to prove himself in every battle. To hear him talk, you'd think he'd already earned the honor, and the fact that vehicles of any kind are rare aboard the Gael-Leo doesn't appear to have impacted his dreams at all. This self-confidence often rubs people the wrong way, but in the case of his closest comrade, Claudius Venta, it seems to have done the opposite. Twitchy and incredibly superstitious, Claudius has latched onto Magna's overconfident demeanor as a yet another good luck charm, certain that any bad luck coming his way will either be driven away or at least drawn to Magna instead by the Universal Laws of Irony. Magna doesn't miss Platus as much as he misses his Sentinel and his family. He doesn't know what tomorrow's going to hold or if he'll ever get vengeance on the Greenskin filth for everything they took. But there's one thing he does know: the Mechanicus isn't going to get another planet shot out from under them, not while he's still in the saddle. quote:Name: Magna Rho Rho Dachshundofdoom fucked around with this message at 06:39 on Aug 27, 2019 |

Macharius Rook Like many Skitarii in service to the Adeptus Mechanicus Macharius Rook was vat-born, made specifically to protect the Tech-Priests of Platus from those who would wish harm upon them. When the agri-world that supplied the planet was cut off from it Macharius and the squad of Skitarii he was attached to were tasked with protecting the foodstores that were contained within the Forge Complexes from the Menials who were trying to break in and take them. When he was ready to take up his task his right eye was replaced with an augur array to supplement his combat effectiveness. Macharius joined the ranks of the Skitarii on the frontlines a month after the greenskins had made planetfall on Platus. A month before the orks destroyed the planet Macharius lost a significant chunk of his chest and had it replaced with a bionic respiratory system to allow him to continue fighting back the hordes of orks trying to get to the atomics that were being guarded by the Skitarii. When the Orks detonated their plundered atomics in the planet's crust Macharius was in the process of transferring to the Gael-Leo as a part of the Skitarii under High Lord Magos Ataran's command. Now that they have no home Macharius wishes to reach Crux Mechanicus in service to the Omnissiah and the Adeptus Mechanicus. quote:Name: Macharius Rook Sathzur fucked around with this message at 00:12 on Aug 22, 2019 |

Sinth Tillow was seldom one to stand on principle. Originally a mine guard, he threw in with the planets rulers, putting down food riots to feed himself. When the orks came, he volunteered for augmentation to better fight them, rather than hide and hope for the best. Working with people he had been fighting weeks prior, he scouted enemy positions and preformed hit-and-run attacks where he could. It felt liberating in a way, united in purpose in a way he'd never felt before. And besides, ork meat, while tough and needing some proper cooking, was perfectly edible. When the planet cracked, he saw his struggles, and the struggles of millions of people made futile in an instant. He has since dedicated himself fully to serve his benefactors, and thus, what remains of his people. If he, and they, can be remade and reforged, he believes they can, united, at least affect some lasting change. Sinth sees little worth in his own humanity, and is eager to earn any augmentation he can, something his Mechanicus overseers sharply approve of. quote:Sinth Tillow Sax Battler fucked around with this message at 12:21 on Aug 22, 2019 |

Tribune Zeta Zeta rarely speaks of her life before becoming a skitarius. On occasion, when no new recruits are listening, she will mention a family, who were lucky enough to serve above ground, manning a repair and refueling facility for industrial vehicles, or her home on the southern coast. But she abandoned that life, discarding her birth name in favor of her designation, to become the person she is now -- as she is in the habit of icily informing anyone who pries. The cohort is her world, now. Though she had served for several years before everything on Platus went to hell, earning her status as a tribune in peacetime, it was in the fighting against the orks that she distinguished herself. In combat she is unyielding, driving forward with cold aggression and retreating suddenly to draw the reckless orks into friendly forces. That such tactics deviate from the slow, tireless offensive mandated by the Mechanicus has not gone unnoticed by her superiors. Fortunately for her, there's been no time for anything more than quiet disapproval as yet. When the end came, Zeta's squad were among the last to reach the Gael-Leo, driving thousands of civilians before them into the vast holds. Watching her homeworld crumble before her eyes, she felt oddly calm. The skitarii do not relent. They are inescapable. Revenge would find the enemy. For her part, she has sworn to find a new home for her cohort, to feel stone beneath her boots once again. If she has to carve that home out of the enemy with her own hands, so be it. quote:Stats: megane fucked around with this message at 04:10 on Aug 25, 2019 |

Sasha Letheran The youngest daughter of an extended clan of rad-miners, Sasha grew up with one overwhelming desire. She wasn't going into the mines like the rest of her family to rot and die in the service of some "Forge Lord" that no one had seen in generations. Instead bolstered by her natural cunning and lack of anything even approaching a scruple she affiliated herself with the local Undermine gang and made a tolerable living as mid-level enforcer in the gang. With the food riots escalating a gang of like minded folk with access to the black market enabled her to ride out the worst of the starvation induced riots. Of course the gang was of little use when the Orcs arrived. Caught up in a sweep for "unproductive" workers she was conscripted into the fighting early and by a combination of ruthlessness and a willingness to let stupider idiots sacrifice themselves in the name of the Omnissiah managed to survive when most of her fellow gangers did not, only taking a serious wound in the final evacuation which saw her as one of the fortunate few evacuated to the Gael-Leo. For now Sasha is content to serve. But she's not stupid she can work the odds as well anyone else and knows the long term survival chances of a soldier of the Imperium are nil. So she's quietly making plans to desert as soon as an opportunity presents itself. Of course getting away with it will be no easy task but if she can enlist some like minded souls who can handle themselves... well then the stars are the limit. quote:Stats: Ferrosol fucked around with this message at 22:54 on Aug 23, 2019 |

Squad Acheron-Delta 121 is comprised of the following: Hephaestus-1B (MaliciousOnion) Tribune Zeta (megane) Odette Magna Rho Rho (dachshund of doom) Claudius Venta Lindserra Salbeck (Serpentis) Barbarella Sinth Tillow (Sax Battler) Botek Sasha Letheran(Ferrosol) Cyrus Macharius Rook(Sathzur) Quinlli OP to come soon. Everyone post some initial thoughts on your allies. You were all fighting together near the end of the planet's demise, and have been drilling and living together for the last couple months in the Warp. Your squad is uniquely situated in which you have an Engineseer, who as an initiated member of the cult mechnaicus could pull rank (similar to a commissar) but Tribune Zeta has actual military rank. So touch on that.

Internal Process Record (Magna Rho Rho) Just got the word that we'll be exiting the Warp soon, so I'm going to record my observations of the squad. Might be amusing to look back on my humble beginnings in a few years when my name is on everyone's vox-emitter. Hephaestus 1-B, the only "real" Tech-Priest among us. My family was always somewhere between the Cult and the people. Too important and enhanced to be miners, but too much time spent laboring out in the rocks and the rads to be respected by the Mechanicus proper. What I mean is, nobody ever really liked us, and the feeling was mutual. But if there was any kind of Tech-Priest we outright hated, it was the self-obsessed kind, the ones that would triple quotas to make themselves look good and then shift the blame when half the mine died a few months later. I'm getting those vibes. And anyway, rumor is Hephaestus is only here because of some major plus-plus tech heresy, the kind that gets you decommissioned if you aren't too important for real consequences. What I'm saying is that he's technically in command, and he's on our side, but I'm not going to allocate any extra grief cycles if he catches a bullet. Tribune Zeta, the one who's really in charge, and also one of the few remaining proper Skitarii. I appreciate a good leader. A good leader makes good plans, and good plans make everyone involved look good. There's static about the Cult being unhappy with her approach, but here's a fact: nobody important really cares so long as the data-sheets balance out in our favor at the end of the day. I'd much rather bend the rules to fit the situation then have a leader who insists that we march steadfastly into death because that's what the Plan is. Lindserra Salbeck, the hero. She's already started following precisely the course I intend to take. Kill your enemies, build up the legend, and then let the stories propagate. I intend to stick close if she lives up to her reputation in the future. That being said, she is potential competition. There had better be room for two heroes in Acheron-Delta 121. Sinth Tallow, the flier. Air support is always appreciated. He strikes me as dependable and predictable, which is all I can really ask of anyone. I've heard he's got a taste for Ork, which is... disquieting. Omnissiah willing we won't have to sink that far on campaign. Sasha Letheran, the untrustworthy one. What little I've heard is that she's ganger scum, which means she's had a lot of practice standing on miners' necks until they hand over their ration chits, and less practice with anything resembling a real fight. Not actually a bad soldier in the sense of fighting, just the kind who's never the first into the breach. That's fair enough; more glory for me. I'm just going to keep my distance and try not to get caught in the blast radius when she self-destructs. Macharius Rook, another one of the few original Skitarii who survived. He's effective and dedicated, and I couldn't ask for a better ally. That being said, like anyone given the privilege of wielding a heavy flamer, I think he is best admired from a safe distance. 8-10 meters, generally.

Hephaestus-1B: A talented Enginseer, although his last posting was destroyed around them, some say that Hephaestus was the cause, others say it was the Orks meddling in the inner workings. Tribune Zeta: A fellow Skitarii, but one who was not vatborn like myself, this may be either an advantage for them or a disadvantage. Odette: They are relatively new to the frontlines and have not left an impression on me just yet. Magna Rho Rho: He wishes to become closer to the machine spirit of an Ironstrider. This desire makes him someone to admire. Claudius Venta: Their superstition may be a hindrance to our future work, but it may help us Lindserra Salbeck: A former miner, it is obvious they have a strong survival instinct as they survived the food riots and the orks. Barbarella: They joined Lindserra in the ranks of the skitarii but does not see that we will earn our reward when we are done. Sinth Tillow: Like myself they wish to come close to Crux Mechanicus Botek: Their faith in the Omnissiah might be the greatest of all those in Squad Acheron-Delta 121 Sasha Letheran: she does not serve willingly like most of those on Platus do. Cyrus: Their drug reliance may become a hindrance in future if they can no longer procure what they crave. Quinlli: He is someone you would want at your side, even if he acts as if it is an annoyance for him to stand beside you.

Personal Log, Skitarii L. Salbeck, Squad Acheron-Delta 121 It’s been a busy few months since we, well... left’s kind of a rocky word. Since we escaped Platus, I guess. Word is we’re back in real space soon; rumour is a combat zone, but that could be the usual slag from the doom sayers. Still, if it is, least I know the Tribune has a true head on her shoulders. I dunno WHAT a ‘pattern five’ training regime is, but got to be a good thing with my performance grading, right? She’s not too keen on, well, me getting up in the thick of it all the time, I guess, but that’s just how I swung things with the mines. (Note - got to stop calling her Zeta. Rank is rank and all that even if she treats us right. That’s gonna get me in real bad sludgework if she catches me out.) Got to hope Odette catches up quick though - Zeta’s a real firm taskmaster. Saw Magna Rho-Rho in a mood. Think his combat vehicle training requests got rejected again. He’s still too shiny for his own good, but I feel for him. Least he gives a frack and acts the same. He’ll get the summons soon, I’m sure - red-robes won’t keep a trained walker-heir on foot for long. (If he doesn’t get himself hurt first.) Wish his luck charmer Claudius would stop going on and on and on about portents and luck and all that slag. Rocks are rocks - can’t overwork things. Still can’t prospect Sinth right. I mean, he seems real firm on the ground when you talk to him, and I’d rather have an old guard on our side than not, but... he thinks a jet pack is a good way to move when his legs still work, he’s hunting for tin and not the medal kind, and that story about him cooking up Ork is ... proper off. Makes me twitchy. Still, maybe I’m not giving him a fair shake. I’ll give him time. Dunno how he puts up with Bloody Boring Botek, though - his droning off-key hymnals’ll get us slotted if he’s not careful. Mind you, talking about getting slotted, how the frack the red-robe uppers haven’t cottoned on to the sketchy stuff Sasha and Cyrus get to, I don’t know. Put me with Sinth or Magna first, cheers much. She’s a sly one and out for something all bauxite like for sure. Mind you, least she’s not addled through like her pet. If he wakes me up one more time scratching for his “quick fix” again, I’m putting a las bolt through his foot. At least she’s a drat fine shot and not off her head half the time. Well, at least Rook is still solid. He knows what it’s like to have taken a knock from the Orks and knock back harder. If we are going straight into a hot spot, he’ll be a good grounding for the rest of us. Can’t say more than that. And Quinli’s not lost his wit. Hard to keep a straight face when the Tribune’s talking and he’s doing his best, er, Tribune “tribute”. P.S. Got to talk to Barbarella again. I know she’s not adjusting well to the thought of being back at war again, but she’s getting bad reports on her record now. And she knows those stick like run-off. Got to make sure she doesn’t get herself into the sump with her grumbling. Or worse. She moaned about the last day of latrine duty for days. P.P.S. Enginseer coming in! That’s ... something. Never actually properly served under one directly before (battlefield casualties don’t count). It’ll be different, for sure. Bad seam rumours about this one on the decks, too - Hephaestus I think? Anyway, yeah, not sure how that’ll shake things up... least I know the Tribune’s thinking and outlook to fighting. That matter, wonder how Zet—the Tribune’s taking it? Rumors have come down from the bridge and the ship is heading to the Leight system but it don't add up. The System is small, with only two planets. One's a gas giant, mostly hydrogen, with a small refinery operation via a orbital station. Other planet is Leight I. Small world three quarters the size of Terra, with gravity and atmosphere to match. Planet is barren, but had life at one point, as there are sizable prometheium deposits. Still the station has a population of 500, the planet has about 25,000 people spread across various small extraction operations. The type of system where a mass hauler comes once a decade to pick up gases and leave. There shouldn't be anything strategic enough to warrant our attention. Maybe we're just passing through to take on hydrogen and prometheium?

Hephaestus-1B : Normally I can't stand the high and mighty cogboys who look down on the rest of us but this one has been knocked down a few pegs so he might be more open to some sort of a deal if need be, and having a cogboy on side would make things a lot easier. Tribune Zeta Huh, I didn't think there were that many real Skitarii left, and we're lucky enough to get two of them. The Tribune is the scary one. He acts like your typical tin soldier but every so often he does something that shows there a good brain in that head of his, I'll have to be very careful because one slip up around him could see me in the deepest shaft. Odette Who? Oh, the new kid. She hasn't done much one way or the other to impress herself on me. Magna Rho Rho: If he goes on about his "poor lost walker" one more time I swear i'm gonna break him in half. Hopefully we'll get shot of him and he can go and pilot a new one or something and everyone would be happy. Claudius Venta I'd say the guys nuts, with his luck poo poo but if the stories are true then he's survived poo poo that'd kill most normal people so maybe there's something in it? Lindserra Salbeck I thought Lindserra might be worth recruiting, she's from the mines after all and should know the score as well as anyone, but from what I've heard she fancies herself as the hero type. I'm not getting killed so she can go punch an ork or whatever. Still maybe I can get her to tone it down a bit and then she'd be handy to have along. Barbarella At least she seems to get how things are going to go. I don't think it'd take much to win her over to the cause of getting the hell away from the regiment. Sinth Tillow Bloody mine-guards! Sorry, old reflexes, he keeps himself to himself and if all he wants to do is go play with his jetpack then I for one am willing to let him as long as he stays out of my way I'm happy to stay out of his. Botek I think the cog up his rear end has a cog up it's rear end. He's all high and mighty about the "Omnissiah will protect us if we have faith" Me? I think the Omnissiah helps those smart enough to help themselves. Still I'm keeping an eye on him because if he figures what I'm up to he'll go and blab to the nearest tech-priest and then i'm in the darkest shaft! Cyrus The one person I can completely trust to have my back. Well as long as he's got his stims anyway. Take them away from him and he starts getting sloppy... I'll have to keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't run out again. Macharius Rook Hmm, he's dangerous and he's been an actual skitarii for years. He wouldn't go along with any sort of desertion so he may have to have a little accident at some point. Which I i'm hoping to avoid if at all possible. I'd rather not leave a trail of bodies behind if I have to run. Quinlli Now this guy is hilarious, I don't know how he gets away with half the stuff he says. I hope I can win him over to my side.

Sinth Tillow, notes on squad-members: Botek: True believer. Was with me when the planet blew. Grown quite fond of. Unimaginative. Will preserve. Hephaestus-1B: True enginseer. Entitled. Sees posting as temporary setback. Disposed to put personal glory before squad. Potential future contact if handled right. Will tread carefully. May have to "reinterpret" orders from. Tribune Zeta: Reasonable. Strong. Gave us orders during ork fighting. Puts lives and results before dogma. Will follow. Will learn from. Odette: Untested. Taken under Zeta's wing. Shown promise? Nervous when observation noticed. Will watch further when can. Magna Rho Rho: Loud. Overly fixated on future. Obsessed with walker vehicles. Glory seeker. Potentially useful. Claudius Venta: Jumpy. Obsessive. If he can translate to proper sanctioned rites, may find use for habits. Harmless. Sasha Letheran: Ganger conscript. Confident. Dislikes being watched. Seen type before. Rat in cage. Will watch for pounce. Will try to preserve implants for reintegration. Cyrus: Unstable. Hanger-on. Looks to Sasha before acting. Waste of augmentation. Macharius Rook: Solid. Dedicated. Met briefly before orks. Vatborn. Eager for augmentation. Will trust. Quinlli: Clings to humor. Nearly as witty as he thinks he is. Harmless. Lindserra Salbeck: Eager. Would likely have become ganger, if not for orks. Young. Reckless. Will watch her back, for now. Barbarella: Bleak. Needs anchor. Needs to commit to life, otherwise no better than a servitor.
