They will know who we are

I believe that is an Iris. and vagina.

Is it schad when you take a Women in Art History course, but the professor is too timid to say words like “penis” or “vagina” out loud?

I think she referred to the controversy surrounding Georgia O’Keeffe’s flowers with the phrase, “lady parts.”

When I was a security consultant, I would get a lot of small business owners asking for advice. And the most common topic they wanted advice on was recording employees, because they were afraid their employees were poo poo talking them. The number of angry responses I got when I told them that covertly recording employee conversations without their knowledge or consent was illegal in every state. Watching grown adults have a melt down that their employees have some rights left was irritating. Dude, you're in management. Yes your employees poo poo talk you. Hell my boss is a good boss. He did the job, knows what we need, and does his best to cover us from corporate bullshit. But do we talk poo poo about him? Yes. Obviously. It's part of the job. Grow up.

I did an English teaching contract job for a cleaning company that had a bunch of non-English speaking contractors employed at a bunch of different sites. One of the managers complained to me after a few weeks that the workers didn't understand him when he was insulting them about the bad job (he felt) they had done and what was I even teaching them? He really did not like my suggestion that the workers could actually understand him just fine but were playing dumb to wind him up.

pointless little fun fact that made that clip possible: typically the bike would gradually slow down til it stalled, but stunt riders turn the idle up so that the bikes will basically propel themselves (helps with no-handed tricks and smooths out the throttle response during wheelies). That, combined with the self-correcting properties of centrifugal force, means homie on the dirtbike trying to kick it over is super pointless. He'd have a better shot at hitting the killswitch and turning off the motor, but, surprise, most stuntbikes have their killswitch either disabled or relocated off the bars to avoid accidentally hitting it during a wheelie.

Is that how they do it? I thought they used a 'throttle lock' but they just turn up the idle screw?

Yup! You still have to be able to manipulate the throttle, so a throttle lock would be a no-go. Some newer bikes' ECU really don't like the idle being set that high (think 3-4k+ rpm) and will try to adjust the air:fuel ratio to get it back down, but the bike is that clip is an 01-03 Honda F4i and they will happily let you set it at whatever rpm your heart desires with a simple twist of a knob down by the shifter (which typically gets moved up closer to your hand controls).

Neat thanks! I used to ride a GSX-R600 but stunting was not something I tried. Didn't even realize I could 'stoppie' until someone pulled a left in front of me and I stopped two feet from their gas cap with my rear tire in the air.

Edit: sec finding better link

Here: it's fun and bike stability including riderless is more complicated than it seems, it's not centrifugal (I think that's quite clearly the conclusion here anyway)
