That was my second favourite match they have had this year behind the G1 match where they masterfully used the time limit. Would like to see SANADA maybe learn from his mistakes next year and not look like the dumbest wrestler on the roster by repeating the same mistakes over and over again

In character it makes no sense for Okada to be interested in the IC title. I wonder if Switchblade is going to attack him to make him accept the deal.

I don’t think Kota’s getting a one day world title reign (it’d be hosed up if he did anyway), so either the 4th ends with mad Kota fans or the 5th ends with mad Naito fans Historically the latter has been a safer bet

Everything points towards it being Okada v Naito on the 5th. So when its Jay beating Ibushi as fans set the Tokyo Dome on fire I will have a chuckle at Gedo tricking me again. No wrestling company just leaves the money on the table that is Okada v Naito for this long without a reason

Yeah, historically the heavy kyu champ retains at the Dome on the 4th. And they've kept Okada and Naito apart for a long while.

Just finished watching. I really liked the show overall, but was really happy at the part where EVERYBODY DIES. Going from knowing nothing about him at the start of the G1 until now, Lance Archer has become a favorite of mine. Also please Archer vs Moxley. Come on New Japan, if I were running a wrestling promotion I’d do it for you!
