The “Reign Over Me” scene in Quadrophenia is one of my favorite scenes in a movie ever. Just such a great moment of a kid learning that his friends aren’t really his friends just because they all dress the same and that his enemies are just as easily confused for his friends in the dark, all set to a great scene of waves crashing on a beach with some rocking tunes to accompany it. It’s a good movie overall if you’ve never seen it.
