Finally Living Rent Free
With Technology encroaching ever forwards into the realms of Magic, the Theoretical Gizzardists and Resourcerers of many sects and covens have made startling advances in the realms of runecraft, hexcasters and divination that have affected our field forever. Today we're counting down the five most important W&W advances of the decade!

5: Mylkando Heavy Witchery's "Portal and Passageway summoning" app.

Previously, casters needed their portal spell taking up valuable brainspace, and the reagents to cast it on hand any time they wanted to get home from a particularly rowdy summoning. With Mylkando Heavy Witchery's app, released in 2012, allowed subscribed users to pull up a portal with the touch of a button, making those embarrassing walks home a thing of the past!

4: Grimblood's PDF Tome.

Allowing users to use a tablet or other drawing-capable device to write their spells on pages like it was a real book, the PDF tome (still in early access at time of writing) allows for a single user to carry around a safe, effective spellbook containing millions of pages of power, without reality-warping power fractures causing injury or death!

3: Nyl and Barry's Chromatic Rune.

Finally, home scrying can be conducted in full colour with one single, simple rune. Carved into the scrying implement of the users choice, the Chromatic Rune allowed insights and intrigue like never before.

2: Manglewood.

Not really an advancement in anything other than style, the exotic and hard to work with Manglewood was finally tamed in 2016, and became a trend for the well to do Witch about town to own in order to show her status to others.

1: Perin Pip's Prestidigitation Rune and Hag Stone Printer.

Perin Pip Runecrafter have been in the business for 1300 years, and have been at the forefront of enchanted chisels and hand carving tools, but in 2011, they announced they would be selling a small, desk based device that would allow users to carve delicate runes like Twirl of Sunlight and Borrowed Power without needing a steady hand and fiddly tools, and we don't need to tell you how vital that has been to how we go about business these days! The device also allowed a user to swap the carving head for a hag stone designer which would cast the summoning spell for the stone as if done by hand. Truly a marvel, no Wizard's tower, Warlock's lair, Druid's clearing or Witches cottage is complete without one.
