I’m halfway through episode 2 and this is a pretty great series, from the description I was expecting more seinen and not for it to be like 2/3 slapstick humor with extreme violence mixed in.

I binged the series and am now reading the manga. The only complaints I have are how ugly the animation is (like, that slow-frame look so many shows have nowadays that is ugly as poo poo, not the character designs or sets which are amazing) and the constant sexualization of Ebisu. I think that’s a pretty good ratio given all five million things I could list about why I’m loving the setting, the story, the characters, etc. Shin and Noi are adorable.

I watched the show and then read through the manga a few weeks ago. There was a lot more boobage than I was expecting.

just read through the manga and drat that was a ride, pretty much the only kinda iffy element I didn't like was how rushed Kirion's arc was since Hayashida was probably feeling the strain of constantly going 'wait, just one more volume' and then i fried up some gyoza as a post read celebration  i haven't exactly caught up with dai dark, but i like to imagine that the MC is actually Chidaruma grown up a bit just doing whatever in some far flung reality lol

Its been a year and a half since publication started but the gangs finally together in Dai Dark. Still have no idea where the story is going to go but Im very happy that two of those chapters so far have just been "Sanko cooking a pasta sandwich" and "Moja showing everyone around the ship" Its that comfy feeling where stuffs happening constantly but it feels like nothings really happening.

Just started watching this and yeah it loving rules. I had no idea what to expect but I can't believe the third episode is literally some Night of the Living Dead poo poo and yet that's still not the wildest thing that happens in the episode, after which I was hooked.
