It's never shown actually entering or leaving hyperspace, but at the end of R1 a guy on the rebel flagship says "we're detecting a massive object emerging from hyperspace!" and then we cut to the Death Star slowly rising above the planet. Seeing it flicker in/out of existence would feel a little undignified, it works much better as a looming presence whose faster motions are left implied. Like a slasher villain.
