Tech is 16-1 with 7 multi-run comebacks already this season. This weekend they spotted Rice a 7-0 3rd inning and a 6-2 8th inning lead until coming back to win 19-12 and a 7-6 walkoff in the 11th. Team's gonna have to stop having bad early innings (a 3 run 1st vs Tennesse really doomed us), but this team's got the bats to turn around any game at a moment's notice.

My dad follows OSU Beavers baseball (he went there for his undergrad), so I've been catching some games with him on the radio. We caught a pretty fun one against San Diego a week ago where they were down 12-6, and then got 5 runs in the 7th. Wasn't enough to win but it was some good action. A buddy of mine happened to be in San Diego, but left after a few innings because it started to get windy and rainy.

Thanks for starting the thread! NC State is pretty good but they lost their first ACC series at UVA so who knows anymore.

Tech drops their 2nd game of the year at Mississippi State 6 to 3. Both teams brought out midweek pitchers. Tech tried to stop the bleeding after their midweek guy fell apart in the 5th with one of our top bullpen guys, John McMillon, but he gave up 2 more. Our other pitchers used were deep bullpen guys. State used their 0 ERA closer, who I'm not sure if he's really good or just hasn't faced many good teams. The rest of their pitchers were a midweek starter who gave up 2 early but settled in, as well as two deep bullpen guys that did well. Game 2 of this really good midweek matchup is at 5:30

Looks like Rice baseball has died. They're 2-14 and at the bottom of Conference USA. Yikes

Tech dropped the 2nd in Biloxi - 3-2 loss where we got into our bullpen and had some of our weekend contributors just not deliver how they should.
